Get to know your local officers as we kick off Neighbourhood Policing Week |
||
|
Dear Resident,
To kick off the week, we wanted to share more information about what neighbourhood policing is, and how you can get involved.
What is neighbourhood policing?
From coffee mornings to nursery visits, they take the time to connect with people of all ages and listen to their views. This information is used to identify problems and take action through a range of measures, such as closure orders.
We also have a Neighbourhood Support Team, which is dedicated to dealing with:
From carrying out visits to those who may be at risk of cuckooing, to undertaking enforcement operations against county lines, they are always busy tackling your concerns, even if you don’t see it. Want to find out more about what your local team has been up to? Head to our website to explore the latest updates, find out more about your local team and see what’s going on in your area. You can also stay connected and never miss an update by following your local neighbourhood teams on Facebook, where we regularly share news, appeals, events and advice.
Community meeting During the hour-long online meeting you will get the opportunity to meet your neighbourhood policing team, hear what they have been working on over the past three months and help set the priorities for the coming quarter. If you are interested in joining us, email ‘East’ to communitymeeting@cambs.police.uk and you will be sent a Teams invite.
If you see any of our officers out and about this week, please do say hello! | ||
